You have decided on a style of window that will look fantastic on your home. Now we recommend that you read through this section which will make the details of your window package selections easier. Let us know if you have any questions and of course, we recommend that you look at actual paint and stain samples which we can provide.
1. SPECIES OF WOOD
Your first choice will be the species of wood that you would like your windows to be made from. Keep in mind that Pine is the best for increased R-Values and will be the least expensive, Oak is a harder wood.
2. PAINTS AND STAINS
All our windows and doors are completely finished in a controlled environment, they arrive ready to install.
Wood only: Choose from A or B
Our windows and doors are made by joining two materials (wood and aluminum). You can choose one paint colour externally on the aluminium and a different colour, either a stain or a RAL paint colour, internally.
Wood interior: Choose from A or B
Aluminum clad exterior: Chose C, either “Standard” colour or “Upgrade”
A. Stain Choices
If you prefer a stain, pick the stain for the species of wood that you have chosen remembering that individual computer monitors will alter colours. Please contact us for actual stain samples.

If you cannot find a Standard Aluminum Colour that you are happy with, get in touch and we will provide you with additional colours. Please keep in mind that there will be an additional charge for this choice.
3. GLAZING BEADS ON THE INTERIOR PROFILE
The glazing beads are the strips of wood that hold your window in place on the interior side of the glazing unit. This choice can be made for all windows and doors, except the Puro, Puro Passive, Eco Line or Eco Line Alu which already comes with a square, modern profile.

B. Vienna Bars: Consist of glued on bars on the outside and inside and warm edge spacebar internally. The glass is continuous.
C. Structural Bars: The glass is divided and each section is a individual glass unit.
There are additional costs to a window or door package if you choose to include glazing, Vienna, leaded or structural bars.
